Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked on both sides of the online marketing world – paid and organic.
Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages and I wouldn’t say one is better than the other. When I say “organic” I’m referring to SEO or search engine optimization. This is the process of producing content to rank higher in Google search (to put it simply). On the other hand, paid marketing is the process of paying someone, such as an advertising platform, to show your ads to its users.
I love both and I really think that you need both to succeed online in the long term. Anyone can make a quick buck but it takes experience and perseverance to do it long term.
I remember when I made my first online dollar. It was through an Amazon affiliate website that curated products that were long-lasting and had lifetime warranties. The site took off on Reddit and had thousands of visitors in a single day. But once the original novelty wore off, I was back to square one. I had a website but didn’t know how to drive traffic to it. That’s why it’s so important to know the in’s and out’s of creating something that is evergreen.
I started Bolder Entrepreneur because over the years I’ve learned a lot about online marketing and I think now it’s time to share what I’ve learned.
One of my biggest passions is online marketing and the freedom it gives you to work from wherever there’s an Internet connection. That being said, I love all things Entrepreneurial and will be sharing my process of achieving financial success whether it be through marketing, investing, real estate, saving, etc.
